New Generation Genetics appoints new CEO
 
Fort Atkinson, Wis. – Sept. 20, 2022 – New Generation Genetics, a leading global Brown Swiss genetic company, announced Brett Haines of Taneytown, Md., as new CEO starting October 1, 2022, succeeding longtime President and CEO Dan Gilbert.

Gilbert noted, “Brett brings to the table, a fresh understanding of genetics with a passion to serve Brown Swiss breeders around the globe. He plans to focus on growing our presence globally and further lead our U.S. team as they continue to focus on bringing a diverse lineup of the best genetics.”

Haines commented, “I aim to continue the exceptional stewardship of the Brown Swiss breed Dan and his team have developed over many years. An 18-year veteran of the A.I. industry, Haines has specialized in product development, sales, and leadership roles for several leading A.I. companies. He grew up on a dairy farm in Md., and obtained a Bachelor’s of Dairy Science degree from Delaware Valley College, Doylestown, Pa. He currently resides in Md., on the family farm with his wife, Andrea and their son, Riley.
